ACC wins three top awards in the VARBusiness 10th Annual Report Card Survey; ACC's strong results reveal the power of a channel-friendly policy.

SANTA BARBARA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 30, 1995--In VARBusiness magazine's 10th Annual Report Card Survey released earlier this month, Advanced Computer Communications (ACC), the leading provider of network access solutions for the home, office and enterprise, won first place in the following categories: Profitability, Presales Support and Managing Cross-Channel Conflict.

The company finished a strong second behind SMC, beating out 3Com, Chipcom, Cisco and Bay Networks. ACC's high marks in profitability, partnership and sales support underscore VARs' satisfaction with the company.

Resellers accounted for 45 percent of ACC's sales this year, and the company hopes to increase VAR sales to 60 percent next year. ACC is rolling out enhanced technical support programs such as an electronic bulletin board, a technical response center and a technical assistance center to provide product information, configuration, services and support.
