Located in a heavily trafficked strip mall, the project entailed the conversion of a 1,300-s/f former laundromat into its current status as an ice cream parlor Ice cream parlors are places that sell ice cream and frozen yogurt to consumers. Ice cream is normally sold in two varieties in these stores: soft-serve ice cream (normally with just chocolate, vanilla, and "twist", a mix of the two), and hard-packed, which has an assortment of . The scope of the work included a new store front, demising wall, ADA-compliant bathroom, kitchen equipment, high-end millwork, paint wall covering and installation of ceramic tile.

Coordination of owner supplied trades and equipment were integral to the success of the fast-track six week project, which was managed by ACC Construction's Project Executive Tullio Medaglia. Constant communication was maintained with the franchisee and parent company to expedite the fit-out.

Cold Stone Creamery was founded in 1988 in Tempe, AZ. Currently, there are 800 Cold Stone Creamery stores located in 42 states, the U.S. Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico.
