ACA Welcomes New National Staff April L. Kennedy.

ACA is pleased to enter a new era of leadership with the appointment of April L. Kennedy as executive officer of advancement, effective July 16. April brings to the association a record of successful nonprofit experience, most recently as an independent consultant to several nonprofit agencies in Indianapolis, Indiana. She has demonstrated expertise in funds development, public relations, and marketing.

Kennedy received a Bachelor of Science degree from Indiana University. She is professionally affiliated with the Beacon Society of the Methodist Hospital Foundation and Habitat for Humanity of Greater Indianapolis.

Eric Nei

Eric recently joined ACA as the associate in knowledge management in the standards department. He brings thirteen years of professional camp experience to ACA. After completing his undergraduate work at the University of Wisconsin at Stevens Point, he worked in camps in New York and Michigan. He is pursuing a Master of Arts degree at Wheaton College. Eric specializes in facility-based adventure programming and training and has shared his knowledge at the Mid-States conference and other association conferences, making numerous presentations regarding the use of adventure programming for personal and team development.

For twenty-five years, Eric has enjoyed camping as a hobby. He and his family (including his wife and four children) have settled in a new home in rural Indiana.
