Emma Lazarus (July 22, 1849 – November 19, 1887) was an American poet born in New York City.
 Special Recognition Awardees, who are honored for their dynamic leadership in business, are: Robert S. Ecker, Michael Fonseca, Robert Robbins, Roger Imperial, Albert Palladino, Howard Weimer, Eileen Feigin, Jane Gladstein, Michael Gill and Aiden Devancy.

The award recipients will be recognized at a Tribute Dinner on Nov. 1 am 6:30 p.m. The business-casual event will raise money for the victims of the World Trade Center attack and the rescuers who have labored day and night since. It replaces an earlier black-tie event.

"The ABO is proud to present this year's honorees," said Jerome Belson presidents of the ABO. "While we are no celebrating in our usual manner, we look forward to bringing our membership together for this important event."
