ABMC Expands Product Portfolio with New Rapid Drug Screen InCup; Receives initial order of 17,000 units of the new product in its first week of availability.

KINDERHOOK, N.Y. -- American Bio Medica Corporation (NASDAQ:ABMC) announced today that they are manufacturing, and have begun shipping initial orders of a new product for the drugs of abuse testing market, the Rapid Drug Screen (RDS(R)) InCup(TM). In addition to this 17,000-unit order from a criminal justice agency, the Company reported that the RDS InCup has been well received by customers in its core markets.

The RDS InCup is an all-inclusive point of collection urine drug test that incorporates collection and testing of the sample in a single device, and is available in configurations of 2 to 12 drugs per device. Once the donor provides a sample the results are available within a few minutes without any manipulation of the sample or the device.

The RDS InCup is an extension of ABMC's Rapid Drug Screen line of tests using the same FDA Cleared RDS test strips and offers customers a fast, accurate and easy method for determining the drug use status of an individual. "This is another significant step in our objective to expand our drugs of abuse product line.
