"Following the 2001 merger with the parent company of Michigan Consolidated Gas Co., DTE Energy managed multiple janitorial suppliers that provided varying levels of service. A DTE Energy team, which was later recognized with an internal customer service award, developed a statewide process to reduce janitorial costs and ensure consistency of service and accountability," he added.
