ABM Janitorial Services Awarded Contract With DTE Energy Co.

SAN FRANCISCO -- ABM Janitorial Services, an operating unit of ABM Industries Incorporated (NYSE:ABM), has been awarded a multi-year, multi-million dollar contract with DTE Energy Co. (NYSE:DTE). The contract covers cleaning and maintenance service for 68 DTE customer centers and business locations throughout the state of Michigan.

"Following the 2001 merger with the parent company of Michigan Consolidated Gas Co., DTE Energy managed multiple janitorial suppliers that provided varying levels of service. A DTE Energy team, which was later recognized with an internal customer service award, developed a statewide process to reduce janitorial costs and ensure consistency of service and accountability," he added.
