ABM Industries Incorporated Names Scott Robinson Vice President.

The board of directors of ABM Industries Incorporated (NYSE:ABM) has promoted Scott Robinson, CIH CSP, 48, to serve as Vice President and Director of Safety Services. In his new position, Robinson will be responsible for the Company's business continuity and employee safety.

Prior to joining ABM in 1998 as an Assistant Vice President, Robinson was employed by United Airlines as a safety manager in the Maintenance Division and by Wells Fargo Bank as a vice president and manager of corporate safety. A 1977 graduate of the University of California at Davis with a BS in Entomology, Robinson earned his Masters of Public Health in 1980 from the University of California at Berkeley.

An Elected Fellow of the American Industrial Hygiene Association in 2001, and a recipient of the Robert T. Legge Award for Academic Excellence, Robinson is an assistant clinical professor at the University of San Francisco's School of Medicine and lecturer at the UC Berkeley School of Public Health.

A resident of Lafayette, Ca with his wife Debi and son, Matt, Robinson is a member of the Lafayette Little League Board of Directors as well as an active coach and manager. He is also a self-described "movie buff."
