ABM Industries Incorporated Names New President for Security Business.

SAN FRANCISCO -- ABM Industries Incorporated (NYSE:ABM) has named Larry T. Smith president of wholly owned subsidiaries American Commercial Security Services (ACSS) and Security Services of America (SSA), effective January 1, 2007. Previously, Smith served as regional vice president for the Southwest for ABM Janitorial Services, the company's largest operating subsidiary.

"Larry's depth of experience in the facility services industry and his familiarity with ABM, combined with his leadership and business skills, will undoubtedly benefit our security services' overall operations, and we welcome him as our new president," said Steven M. Zaccagnini, executive vice president of ABM.

ABM Industries President and CEO Henrik Slipsager added: "As one of ABM's most proven leaders, Larry will join the current management team to complete the integration of our security operations and accelerate the expansion of our business. Smith earned a Bachelor's degree from the University of Southern California and resides in Los Angeles County with his family.
