:ABM) has promoted Glenn M. Hammond, 34, to serve as Vice President and Deputy General Counsel. Hammond's area of responsibility will include supporting all merger and acquisition activity and other transactional work nationwide, and assisting with SEC compliance and corporate governance issues.

Hammond joined ABM over 18 months ago as Assistant Vice President and Deputy General Counsel. Prior to joining ABM, Hammond held the position of Corporate Associate at Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP in San Francisco, where his area of expertise was in mergers and acquisitions, securities, private equity, corporate finance, and licensing. A 1992 graduate of Dartmouth College with a BA in English and Classics, Hammond earned his JD from New York University School of Law Coordinates:  The New York University School of Law (NYU Law) is the law school of New York University. Established in 1835, the school offers the J.D., LL.M., and J.S.D.  in 1995.

Admitted to practice in California and New York, Hammond is a member of the Bar Association of San Francisco, the American Bar Association American Bar Association (ABA), voluntary organization of lawyers admitted to the bar of any state. Founded (1878) largely through the efforts of the Connecticut Bar Association, it is devoted to improving the administration of justice, seeking uniformity of law , the Association of Corporate Counsel and the Society of Corporate Secretaries and Governance Professionals.
