) today reported its best ever first quarter revenues, net income and earnings per share for the three months ended Jan. 31, 1997.

Revenues for the first quarter were $291,638,000, a 15% increase compared to $254,401,000 in the same period in 1996.

Net income was $4,840,000, up 20% over $4,048,000 for the same period last year. Earnings per share increased by 10% to 22 cents for the first quarter compared to 20 cents a year earlier, despite the initial dilutive effect Dilutive effect
