ABL Canada's VT2C Demonstrates Unparalleled Flexibility in a Major Application for the U.S. Government.


MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 24, 1996--ABL Canada is pleased to announce the receipt of an additional purchase order of $400,000 from a major Untied States government agency for remote video surveillance for the supply of ABL's VT2C videoconferencing A real time video session between two or more users or between two or more locations. Although the first videoconferencing was done with traditional analog TV and satellites, inhouse room systems became popular in the early 1980s after Compression Labs pioneered digitized video systems  codec (1) (enCOder/DECoder) A hardware circuit that performs analog-to-digital conversion (ADC) and digital-to-analog (DAC) conversion.
