ABI Research Welcomes New Director Lance Wilson.


OYSTER BAY, N.Y. -- ABI Research is very pleased to announce the appointment of Lance Wilson as Director of Wireless Research.

Wilson is now in his thirty-third year of continuous involvement in the wireless and RF businesses. He worked for two decades at Motorola, Inc., first as Principal Staff Engineer for wireless infrastructure markets, and later as Strategic Marketing/Competitive Intelligence Manager - RF Power Semiconductors. He also worked on Motorola's line of RF amplifiers, and holds three U.S. patents on RF related topics.

Earlier, he served as Senior Staff Engineer at TRW RF Devices and Varian Associates, and as a Design Engineer at Varian's CTC division.

He attended the University of California, majoring in physics.
