ABI Research Announces European Acquisition & Expansion.

OYSTER BAY, N.Y. -- ABI Research announced today that it has acquired Concise Insight Europe Ltd. This acquisition enhances the US-based technology market analyst firm's global operations by adding a local research operation in Europe, dedicated to the study of European technology markets.

Concise Insight is headed by Jake Saunders, who will be integrated into ABI Research as Director of Research, Europe. Mr. Saunders founded Concise Insight in 2002 and has built the small wireless operator research consultancy into one of the top providers of cellular operator-centric research and European wireless research in terms of both breadth of content, and quality of research.

This acquisition is critical to ABI Research for two reasons. First, Concise Insight brings with it a large, extremely well-segmented wireless database for the European market, and this will significantly improve ABI Research's coverage of this important region.

Secondly, with a rapidly growing European client base under the management of Joe Galvez, Director of Business Development, Europe, ABI Research wants to ensure continued and improved support of our European clients.

Prior to founding Concise Insight Europe Ltd, Jake was the Director of Research, Europe for the Strategis Group, a global telecoms analyst company.
