ABCNEWS.com, the 24-hour Internet operation of ABC News, will steam live Spanish-language audio of the ABC News "Nightline" town meeting Friday, April 7 (11:35 p.m. ET), in Miami addressing the issues surrounding the case of Elian Gonzalez.

:GO), is also creating special Spanish-language message boards to accompany traditional English-language boards, enabling visitors to the site to post their opinions and exchange ideas with others.

Ted Koppel will anchor the 90-minute "Nightline" town meeting focusing on the case of the six-year-old Cuban refugee. Mr. Koppel will moderate a discussion with an audience and a group of guest panelists whose expertise ranges from the fields of immigration immigration, entrance of a person (an alien) into a new country for the purpose of establishing permanent residence. Motives for immigration, like those for migration generally, are often economic, although religious or political factors may be very important.  and family law to child psychology and politics.

The "Nightline" town meeting will be broadcast from the campus of Florida International University Florida International University, primarily at University Park, Miami; coeducational; chartered 1965, opened 1972. A research university, it has 18 colleges and schools and many specialized centers and institutes, including those in biomedical engineering, database  in Miami. The audience will be comprised of a diverse cross-section of the Miami community. Panelists on the broadcast will be announced closer to the broadcast date.
