Of all the factors that go into making this the largest and greatest coaches' convention in the world, none plays a more significant role than the outstanding teachers and motivators of our game who have agreed to share their knowledge and expertise at this year's convention.

Second Vice-President Pat McMahon Pat McMahon (born May 28, 1953) is the former baseball coach for the Florida Gators. In his twelve seasons as a head coach, he has compiled a career record of 527-259-1. Prior to becoming the head coach of the Gators, he also served as the head coach of Old Dominion, and  has assembled another star-studded speaker lineup for the clinics, which begin on January 4th, and end on January 6th. No one will want to miss the latest techniques, fundamentals, and strategies that these great coaches are prepared to share with us. More than 300 vendors will be on hand for the display of the latest and most innovative baseball equipment on the market today.

The convention will begin on Thursday evening January 3rd, with the business meetings of each division (NCAA NCAA

Steve Smith enters his 14th season as head coach of Baylor's baseball program in 2008. In his first 13 years, Smith guided the program to unprecedented heights, including the most successful 10-year run in the program's 100-year history, plus a College World Series appearance in 2005.
