ABC7 Viewers Raise Nearly $40,000 in Four Days to Help Tornado Victims.


LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--

7 Eyewitness News Eyewitness News is a local television newscast format, widely used in different markets across the United States. It is also the name of a very popular music package offered by Gari Communications.  asked viewers from throughout the Southland to join the station in helping provide relief to the victims of this week's tornadoes in Oklahoma and Kansas.

ABC7 viewer response has been overwhelming. In just four days ABC7 and its viewers already have raised more than $38,000 to help the American Red Cross American Red Cross: see Red Cross.  assist storm victims.

The money raised so far by ABC7 viewers was distributed to the American Red Cross Friday afternoon.
