ABC.com Launches Redesigned, Interactive Prime Time Area; Redesigned Site to Feature Enhanced Areas for Fall Programming.

 Network, has launched a redesigned prime time area, just in time for ABC's new fall line-up of programming. The site includes: animated home pages for shows; customized video players so that users can view exclusive Web-only story extensions, interviews and show previews; message boards for fans of each show to post comments; character photo galleries that have in-character profiles written by the show; and show synopses and episode guides for fans who miss an episode of their favorite show.

As the season progresses, users will be able to experience original "Web-exclusive" programming, character and story extensions, chats, and other unique elements that allow viewers to more closely "connect" with ABC's shows and to each other. Some ABC.com features to look forward to include a special area dedicated to Boy Meets World - CoryandTopanga.com - where users can help the happy couple plan their wedding and a special area dedicated to Wasteland that will launch at the end of September. The Wasteland area will include exclusive video "pre-quels" on certain story lines and characters and each week will feature "lost scenes" that will only be available on ABC.com. The Wasteland site will also feature a scrapbook A Macintosh disk file that holds frequently used text and graphics objects, such as a company letterhead. Contrast with "clipboard," which is reserved memory that holds data only for the current session.  from Dawnie, one of the main characters in the show, that will consist of her first-hand observations about her friends.
