 TEAM UP WITH MEN'S FRAGRANCE DRAKKAR NOIR
 NEW YORK, April 27 /PRNewswire/ -- ABC Sports and CBS/FOX Video Sports have teamed up with Drakkar Noir, the number one prestige fragrance for men, in an unprecedented nationwide promotion -- a fragrance and video industry first -- featuring two ABC Sports home videos: "The Thrill of Victory" and "The Agony of Defeat." Both videos will be offered as a gift with purchase of $28.50 or more from the Drakkar Noir fragrance collection.
 Timed to begin in time for Father's Day in June, Drakkar Noir will launch a powerful $1.3 million television advertising campaign to support this promotion including commercials directed by Dominic Sena (Nike's award-winning Andre Agassi spots) featuring top models John Pearson and Stephanie Seymour. The fast-paced spots are aimed at men 18-34 years old and will include footage from "The Thrill of Victory"/"The Agony of Defeat" home videos.
 In addition, Drakkar Noir is equipping their retailers with video monitors to screen highlights from "The Thrill of Victory" and "The Agony of Defeat," dynamic posters, counter cards and other signage. Individuals distributing Drakkar Noir posted in retail stores will also be outfitted in "Thrill of Victory"/"Agony of Defeat" theme apparel.

Hosted by Jim McKay, the program captures dozens of once-in-a-lifetime moments as world-class athletes carve out their place in history: Muhammed Ali stuns George Foreman and the world ... O.J. Simpson runs away with the Heisman Trophy ... Affirmed noses out Alydar in a breathtaking finish in 1978 Preakness ... the Olympic gold medal performances by Olga Korbut, Nadia Comaneci, Dorothy Hamill, Mary Lou Retton, Carl Lewis, Mark Spitz, Bruce Jenner, Franz Klammer, Eric Heiden and the miracle makers; the 1980 USA hockey team.
 "The Agony of Defeat" is a hilarious compilation of some of the most famous setbacks and spills in sports history. It is a perfect complement to "The Thrill of Victory" which makes flawless performance look so easy. Craig T. Nelson (TV's "Coach") hosts "The Agony of Defeat" which features the most celebrated sports misfires in broadcast history, captured for posterity by the cameras and crew of ABC Sports: devastating crashes by Cale Yarborough and Richard Petty ...
