), today announced the appointment of Frank E. Vaughn to its board of directors to fill a vacancy and serve until the next election of the board.

Vaughn is the retired president of The Hoover Cos. and executive vice president of the Maytag Corp. On retirement, Vaughn had responsibility for all Hoover domestic and foreign businesses and responsibility for Maytag's international businesses. Vaughn was chairman, president and/or director of ten foreign affiliates with responsibility for all operations in 85 countries doing over $1 billion in appliance business.

In addition to serving on other corporate and community boards Community Boards is a community based mediation program, established in 1976, in San Francisco, California, USA. The program utilizes volunteers from from the neighbourhoods of the city, who work with people involved in disagreements toward the end of resolving the dispute, , Vaughn is an adjunct professor and visiting lecturer, Kent State University, College of Business Administration and Graduate School of Management.
