Edwin G. Roos, vice chairman, and Andrew H. Roos, executive vice president, acted as co-brokers in the long-term net leasing of the building.

The seven- to 10-story structure at 38 East 19th Street, extending through to East 18th Street, is immediately adjacent to ABC's current main facility, which is at 880 Broadway. The firm has commenced renovations of the building, and plans to occupy it entirely. ABC will be expanding immediately into the ground floor, second floor and lower level, which had previously been occupied by a large photographic equipment retailer who had disaffirmed its lease upon entering Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings bankruptcy proceedings n. the bankruptcy procedure is: a) filing a petition (voluntary or involuntary) to declare a debtor person or business bankrupt, or, under Chapter 11 or 13, to allow reorganization or refinancing under a plan to meet the debts of the party .
