ABBYY Secures New Strategic Relationships with Compaq and Lexmark; Leading Hardware Manufacturers Include ABBYY FineReader OCR Software with New Scanners and Multi-function Devices.

ABBYY, a world leader in document recognition and linguistic technologies, today announced two worldwide bundling agreements with leading hardware manufacturers, Compaq and Lexmark.

Under the new agreements, Compaq is shipping the new Compaq S200 scanner with ABBYY FineReader(TM) 4.0 Sprint and a trial version of ABBYY FineReader 5.0 Pro. In addition, Lexmark is bundling ABBYY FineReader 4.0 Sprint with its X series multi-functional devices designed to scan, print, copy and fax.
