ABB Network Management will use TDi's ConsoleWorks 2.0 technology

to help ABB's customers comply with regulatory mandates such as

NERC Urgent Standard 1200 and Sarbanes-Oxley

(TDi) (www.tditx.com) the leader in Web-based enterprise monitoring and management solutions, announced its partnership with the leader in global power and automation technology, ABB Network Management (ABB) (NYSE:ABB) to provide TDi's ConsoleWorks 2.0 for deployment with ABB's Network Manager EMS Energy Management System Solutions, an intelligent event monitoring device for companies. As part of the agreement, ConsoleWorks will help manage infrastructure devices and applications for ABB's Network Manager customers. The ConsoleWorks Intelligent Event Modules (IEM) for Network Manager provides availability statistics for EMS, as well as uptime stats for hardware devices. These statistics will prepare enterprise companies for both NERC 1200 and the Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance regulatory mandates which will demand public companies report on IT efficiencies. The ConsoleWorks IEM for TripWire works with the intrusion detection software to provide management from a single console. This unique pairing of management and reporting solutions provide a seamless integration among networked systems for ABB's current and future global customer-base that deal directly with government mandated reporting.

In addition, this agreement calls for future exploration of both products. By combining ConsoleWorks 2.0 with ABB's Energy Management Solutions to offer a deeper integration of ABB applications and the ConsoleWorks applications for future deployment in the utility IT space. By offering real-time notification and event monitoring across large networks, ConsoleWorks prevents network failures thereby increasing systems availability (improving revenues) and reducing mean time to repair - a perfect solution for any company that deals with critical infrastructure issues.
