ABA President keynotes 47th annual meeting.


LEXINGTON, N.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 23, 1995--American Bankers' Association President James B. Culberson Jr., highlighted current concerns of the banking industry when he addressed the more than 300 shareholders attending the Annual Meeting of LSB (Linux Standard Base) A standard interface (ABI) for Linux from the Linux Foundation (www.linux-foundation.org). Introduced in 2001 by the Free Standards Group, which later became the Linux Foundation, applications based on the LSB standard will run properly under  Bancshares Inc. last week.

Following Mr. Culberson's comments, shareholder action was taken on the following items:

Shareholders ratified the appointment of Turlington & Co. to conduct the 1996 independent audit of LSB Bancshares Inc., and approved the Bancshares' 1996 Omnibus Stock Incentive Plan. Also heard was a shareholder proposal, relating to relating to relate prepconcernant
