AB Partners builds on Altman-Burack legacy.

In response to heightened activity throughout its business, AB Partners, LLC is expanding and relocating to 200 Park Avenue South under the new name of ABS Partners Real Estate, LLC.

The changes mark the end of a five-year affiliation with Murray Hill Properties, LLC, located at 1140 Avenue of the Americas.

The new name reflects the appointment of Gregg L. Shenker and Peter Burack as co-managing partners, who will join industry veterans and co-chairmen Earle S. Altman and Daniel A. Burack.

Also led by senior partner Steven Hornstock and senior executives John Gols, Jay Caseley and Arnold Schoenfeld, the management team will concentrate on expanding the company's portfolio of approximately three million square feet of commercial, industrial and residential property.

The company intends to focus on acquisitions, investment sales, commercial leasing, property management and consulting. Collectively, the principals represent decades of experience, including associations with some of the cornerstone names in New York's real estate community.

According to Mr. Hornstock, "The relocation will give the company the added space it needs to maintain our high level of client service and to expand through a selective hiring program. The new office will also give us a substantial platform to support our increased activity in the brokerage and acquisition areas."

ABS Partners' new headquarters, a 17-story structure built in 1903, is one of the company's prime portfolio holdings. Standing opposite the landmark "W" Hotel on 17th Street, the building's proximity to Union Square Park, Midtown South and the Flatiron District enhances the firm's hands-on approach to managing its properties anchored in those areas.

The building also provides advanced communications infrastructure to support the firm's fully automated management and accounting systems. Besides its growing professional and administrative staffs, ABS Partners also maintains a complete in-house construction management team. The company will continue to operate its Westchester office at 550 Mamaroneck Avenue, Harrison, N. Y.

ABS Partners has most recently been involved in the sale, refinancing or leasing of buildings at 160 and 162 Fifth Avenue, 915 Broadway, 270 Madison Avenue, 8 West 30th Street, 200 Park Avenue South and 19 Union Square.
