AB 1868 signed into law.


The governor recently signed CalCPA-sponsored AB 1868, which should correct some of the most egregious e·gre·gious  
adj.
Conspicuously bad or offensive. See Synonyms at flagrant.



[From Latin
 problems of the practice privilege statute that went into effect Jan. 1, 2006. This marks another legislative success for CalCPA.

Since it was an urgency bill, the provisions of AB 1868 took effect immediately.

The California California (kăl'ĭfôr`nyə), most populous state in the United States, located in the Far West; bordered by Oregon (N), Nevada and, across the Colorado River, Arizona (E), Mexico (S), and the Pacific Ocean (W).  Board of Accountancy has released a summary of the law changes, which can be downloaded from www.dca.ca.gov/cba/notices/pp-6.pdf.

The CBA See Capital Builder Account.  also released a Notice regarding the new law, addressing the need for further regulations to clarify the meaning of the phrase "temporarily practicing in this state incident to practice in another state" found in subdivision (b) of the law's Sec. 5050.
