Terms call for AASI to lease the facility for a 20-year period, with the option to extend the lease for an additional 10 years. The agreement also includes a building repurchase option. AASI will receive an initial payment of $8.5 million and an additional $2.75 million at a later date. The company will use the proceeds to complete the final phase in the development of the JETCRUZER 500 aircraft and enter full-scale manufacturing in late 1999.
