In an effort to strengthen its communications with shareholders, customers and suppliers in the development of the JETCRUZER 500(TM), Advanced Aerodynamics & Structures Inc. (Nasdaq:AASI) today announced that it has added progress reports and frequently asked questions (FAQs) to the company's Web site, www.aasiaircraft.com.

Dr. Carl L. Chen, chairman and chief executive officer, stated: "As we move steadily forward toward Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) approval of the JETCRUZER 500, we believe it is vitally important that we keep AASI's shareholders informed of the company's progress in the development of its new, advanced, composite airplane -- the JETCRUZER 500.

The JETCRUZER 500 is a high speed (345 mph), single engine, propjet aircraft, designed for world markets desiring high-performance jet-like transportation at the lowest price (US$1.395 million).

The JETCRUZER 500 allows first class passenger seating and comfort for six (including the pilot). The interior, designed by BMW subsidiary, Designworks/USA, adds luxury car styling to the JETCRUZER 500's new-century look. The propjet's Pratt & Whitney engine is a high-performance model PT6A-66A with 1,572 ESHP output to provide the JETCRUZER 500 with performance that exceeds everything in its class. A new 5-blade, high-altitude, 7-foot diameter propeller, combined with the propjet engine and a 30,000-foot pressurized cabin, enables the JETCRUZER 500 to fly above most weather at speeds approaching light jets for a fraction of their purchase and operating costs.
