AARP Launches National Hiring Campaign to Connect Older Workers With Jobs.


By the year 2010, one in three workers will be at least 50 years old. As Baby Boomers See generation X.  reach retirement age, the pool of replacement workers won't be large enough to meet the nation's labor demands. According to according to

 AARP AARP, a nonprofit, nonpartisan national organization dedicated to "enriching the experience of aging"; membership is open to people age 50 or older. Founded in 1958 by Ethel Percy Andrus as American Association of Retired Persons, AARP now has over 30 million , half of its 35 million members are still working or want to work. Now, the organization has launched a new 'Workforce Initiative' campaign to help Americans age 50 and older stay in the workforce.
