:AARW AARW Alliance of American and Russian Women ) released the following statement regarding the end of AARO's first calendar year of operations:

"As we close 2000, AARO has been operational for more than eight months, first as a private company, then following its merger into a publicly-traded corporation," said AARO President/CEO Ron Baker Ronald Baker (born November 19, 1954 in Gary, Indiana) was a former American football offensive lineman between 1978 and 1988 for the Baltimore Colts and the Philadelphia Eagles of the NFL. He played college football at Oklahoma State University. .

"The staff and management at AARO would like to take this opportunity to thank the investors both old and new, suppliers, service providers and customers who have believed in AARO strongly enough to help us during this first year of incredible growth.

"What started as little more than a small group of dedicated individuals with a common goal, has grown in this short span to a significant technology corporation, providing jobs as well as goods and services In economics, economic output is divided into physical goods and intangible services. -- Launched service in the Oklahoma City, Tulsa, Austin markets.

-- Been the first to launch broad bandwidth telecommunications in rural
America. Stroud, Okla., a town of less than 3,000 that was previously forced to
survive on slow, dial-up service, is now connected to the Internet wirelessly
at speeds in excess of 3 Mbps.

-- Executed a contract with the Oklahoma Municipal League designed to provide
high-speed telecommunications capabilities to rural areas throughout the state.


-- Executed a contract with a government leasing group designed to
revolutionize the way local, state and federal governments finance the
provisioning of goods and services.

-- Built a board of directors consisting of both corporate officers as well as
the "cream of the crop" in the telecommunications, aeronautics, financial and
marketing industries.

-- Completed fundraising efforts to bring in excess of $4 million to its
efforts to build a national, carrier-class telecommunications network.
