  • Internal affairs (law enforcement), a division of a law enforcement agency which investigates cases of lawbreaking by members of that agency
Richard Stutsman said the company was named in a lawsuit filed in Arkansas state court by former Utica employee Patricia Camp. Camp is alleging that her ownership interest in Utica Publishing was unfairly diluted during Utica's various acquisitions and mergers. She is asking for actual and punitive damages Monetary compensation awarded to an injured party that goes beyond that which is necessary to compensate the individual for losses and that is intended to punish the wrongdoer.  exceeding $4 million.

"All of the allegations listed in this suit occurred prior to our merger with Utica's former parent company, AAROW Environmental Group. These allegations are entirely without merit as far as AARO is concerned. We have retained counsel in Arkansas and are prepared to defend this case vigorously," Stutsman said.

Utica Publishing merged with AAROW Environmental Group in September of 1999. AAROW Environmental Group ceased operations following its merger into Global Wireless Technologies, Inc. in May 2000, forming the company that would eventually become AARO Broadband Wireless Communications, Inc. Stutsman said Utica Publishing was returned to its former ownership shortly after the merger between AAROW Environmental and Global Wireless.

Stutsman said AARO will continue to focus its efforts on providing high-speed fixed wireless Internet, networking and application services in 33 western and southern U.S. markets over the next 12 to 18 months.
