Program Builds More Diverse Industry Through Nation's

Most Promising Minority Advertising Students

Now in its fifth year, AAF's Most Promising Minority Students--2001 is helping meet the need for a multicultural workforce. Twenty-five finalists will visit New York City New York City: see New York, city.

 from March 1 - 2 to meet with recruiters and executives from leading ad agencies, advertisers and media companies for interviews, coaching and guidance. These graduating college seniors, the best and brightest with an academic background in advertising, represent colleges in 15 states and the District of Columbia District of Columbia, federal district (2000 pop. 572,059, a 5.7% decrease in population since the 1990 census), 69 sq mi (179 sq km), on the east bank of the Potomac River, coextensive with the city of Washington, D.C.
