AAEA awards of excellence.

Named "Writer of the Year" was DTN's Chris Clayton. Clayton's article "Katrina: One Year Later" was named "Story of the Year." Capital Press's Mark Rozin was named "Photographer of the Year."

DTN and Western Producer tied for the most first place awards in the Writing Division. The Progressive Farmer received the most first place finishes in the Photo and Design Division with a total of 17.
