AAA Texas Top Funny Car Driver Visits Schools for Youth & Education.

WHAT:  Top rated Funny Car Driver Gary Densham - a top driver on John
       Force's Racing Team is in town to compete in the O'Reilly Fall
       Nationals. However, it's what he's doing in his spare time that
       has teens taking notice.

       He's using the attraction of his motorsports career to motivate
       young students and assist them in preparing for life after
       graduation.

       Densham will visit two high schools in the Dallas area and
       speak to students about the importance of staying in school and
       getting an education.

BACKGROUND:

--  Densham serves as chief spokesperson for AAA Texas' youth and
    education initiatives, which are focused on encouraging young
    people to make wise decisions in their personal lives.

--  Two-time winner on this year's NHRA POWERade Drag Racing Series
    national tour, including Gatornationals (Gainesville, Fla.) and
    Lucas Oil Nationals (Brainerd, Minn.).

--  For 29 years, taught auto shop at Gahr High School in Cerritos,
    Calif., before taking a leave of absence to pursue drag racing
    full-time.
