"Pump prices posted decreases this week despite threats of supply disruptions due to Hurricane Ivan," said Rose Rougeau, spokesperson for AAA Texas. "Crude oil prices rose above $45 a barrel this week over concerns about the hurricane's potential effect on off-shore oil drilling platforms as well as oil and gasoline delivery and shipping facilities in Gulf coast ports.
