AAA MICHIGAN: GAS PRICES LOWER THAN LAST YEAR

 DEARBORN, Mich., June 8 /PRNewswire/ -- Self-serve regular unleaded gas prices continued a downward trend this week, with Metro Detroit prices losing 1.4 cents per gallon this week to average $1.10 (compared to $1.116 this time last year), and outstate losing 0.4 cent to average $1.141 (compared to $1.161 last year), AAA Michigan reports.
 The weekly "Fuel Gauge" survey of 100 Detroit-area and 300 outstate stations compared prices to last week and found the following increases across the board:
 DETROIT-AREA SELF-SERVE: Regular unleaded costs between 99.9 cents and $1.189 a gallon. Premium averages $1.295, down 0.6 cent, selling between $1.159 and $1.419 a gallon.
 DETROIT-AREA FULL-SERVE: Regular unleaded is down 0.3 cent to average $1.462, ranging between $1.059 and $1.899. Premium rose 0.4 cent, averaging $1.612, and selling between $1.179 and $1.949.
 OUTSTATE SELF-SERVE: Regular unleaded ranges from $1.059 a gallon to $1.259. Premium is down 0.1 cent to average $1.299 a gallon, fluctuating between $1.129 and $1.449. Leaded averages $1.225 a gallon, down 0.2 cent, retailing from $1.159 to $1.329.
 OUTSTATE FULL-SERVE: Regular unleaded averages $1.303, up 0.1 cent, selling between $1.119 and $1.759. Premium went up 0.2 cent, ranging between $1.199 and $1.909, to average $1.458. Leaded averages $1.242, an increase of 0.1 cent, to sell between $1.139 and $1.359 a gallon.
 STATEWIDE DIESEL: Full-serve averages $1.241 a gallon, up 1 cent, selling between $1.099 and $1.639. Self-serve was unchanged at $1.141, selling between $1.009 and $1.269.
 A check of Michigan shoreline and inland boat docks shows:
 DETROIT-AREA MARINA: Regular unleaded is up 2.2 cents, fluctuating between $1.359 and $1.699, to average $1.559. Diesel averages $1.534, down 1.3 cents from last week, selling between $1.379 and $1.739.
 OUTSTATE MARINA: Regular unleaded decreased 0.3 cent, averaging $1.482, ranging from $1.299 to $2.059. Diesel averages $1.365, unchanged from last week, and selling between $1.179 and $1.709.
