A.V. FAIR COMES FULL CIRCLE; ROCK LEGENDS HELP PUNCTUATE SUCCESSFUL RUN.

The Antelope Valley
 Fair in Lancaster, officials said.

The 11-day fair kicked off Aug. 22 with Rock and Roll Hall of Fame The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum is a museum in Cleveland, Ohio, United States, dedicated to recording the history of some of the best-known and most influential artists, producers, and other people who have in some major way influenced the music industry, particularly in  members Crosby, Stills and Nash performing some of their greatest hits before a capacity crowd of more than 6,000 on the fairgrounds n. pl. 1. same as fairground. .

``Attendance has been excellent, our opening weekend was up about 16 percent over last year and the weather has been great,'' fair spokeswoman Candace Harrison said Monday.

Fair officials said temperatures reached the century mark only twice during the 11-day event and because most activities get under way around sundown, the crowds weren't affected.

``Most nights the temperatures were in the 70s, which is great,'' said fair manager Dan Jacobs.

With a bake-off and jam contest among the fair's events, officials said this year's festivities fes·tiv·i·ty

``This year was different, we tried to add something that everyone in the community would like and we were more organized,'' Jacobs said.

More people entered arts and crafts arts and crafts, term for that general field of applied design in which hand fabrication is dominant. Foxworthy (born September 6, 1958[1]) is an American comedian, actor and game show host who is known for his work as a stand-up comedian. He is perhaps best known for his "You Might Be a Redneck" jokes. , country singers Tracy Lawrence and Tracy Bird as well as Crosby, Stills and Nash - was more attractive to Antelope Valley residents.

Harrison said capacity crowds filled the fairgrounds each night and the shows and events took place without incident. She said total attendance figures would be available today.

``The lineup helped, we've had blockbuster entertainment before, but this time we had something for everyone,'' Jacobs said.

The fair closed Monday after a spectacular rodeo show.
