 men are in custody after a weekend shooting among a nighttime crowd standing in a parking lot that killed a Palmdale man and wounded two others.

Ex-convict Kenjuan Adams, 26, and Charles Reynolds, 25, were arrested after deputies spotted a van resembling the gunman's getaway vehicle, a detective said Monday.

``We believe an argument broke out between the suspects and the victims. One of the suspects pulled a handgun and started shooting,'' sheriff's homicide homicide (hŏm`əsīd), in law, the taking of human life. Homicides that are neither justifiable nor excusable are considered crimes. A criminal homicide committed with malice is known as murder, otherwise it is called manslaughter.  Lt. , 28, of Palmdale, who died at a hospital. The shooting wounded two other men, one of whom remains hospitalized in critical condition, Lincoln said. The second was treated at a hospital and sent home.

The wounded men's names were not released.
