The Antelope Valley
 High School's Tony Walker has been selected the Golden League Player of the Year in football by league coaches.

The versatile Walker, a senior, scored 20 touchdowns this season for the Antelopes while starring as a tailback and defensive back. He also rushed for 1,127 yards and caught 19 passes for 365 yards and five touchdowns.

Palmdale quarterback Jeremy Coleman was selected the Back of the Year, and Quartz Hill lineman Jacob Waasdorp was named the Lineman of the Year.

First-team all-league picks for Antelope Valley were kicker David Aranzubia, offensive lineman Jim Deagon, back Gary Hardy and defensive lineman Aaron Yost.

Highland's picks were lineman Joe Younan, quarterback Camy Smith, receiver Will Demps William Henry Demps, Jr. (born November 7 1979) is an American football player who is currently a member of the Houston Texans in the National Football League.
