``I'm pretty impressed with our guys,'' Antelope Valley coach Brent Newcomb said. ``We've got Tony Walker and some other guys with him and they played a real good game.''

The loss for Littlerock (6-2, 1-1) was its first since a season-opening 23-8 defeat to Valley of Las Vegas Las Vegas (läs vā`gəs), city (1990 pop. 258,295), seat of Clark co., S Nev.; inc. 1911. ``I wanted to step it up big because we had a lot of two-way starters tonight,'' Walker said.

Antelope Valley took the opening kickoff and marched 64 yards on nine plays, 43 yards of which came on six carries by Walker. The drive ended with a 14-yard touchdown pass from Justin Mobley to Aaron Yost.

``It was a waggle play and I was wide open,'' said Yost, who caught the ball in the back corner of the end zone. ``We really worked hard the past two weeks. We wanted to step it up.''

Littlerock gave Antelope Valley some help. On the first play of the second quarter, the Lobos' Devon Reese touched a punt and it was recovered by Gary Hardy on the Littlerock 14. Two plays later, Walker scored from six yards out to make it 14-0 Antelope Valley.

After the Antelopes scored on a 26-yard pass play from Mobley to Joe Manning to make it 21-0 with 5:10 left in the half, Reese couldn't handle a lateral from quarterback Myles Meeden. Antelope Valley recovered on the Littlerock 3 with 1 minute left.

Walker scored on the first play to make it 28-0, a lead too much for the run-oriented Lobos to come back from.

The Antelopes defense didn't allow a first down and only gave up 1 yard in the first half.

Littlerock got its offense going in the second half, driving 80 yards on 13 plays for a 5-yard touchdown run by Reese (41 yards on 12 carries) with 9:16 left in the game.
