A.M. Best to Discuss Health Product Innovations at AHIP Forum.


OLDWICK, N.J. -- A.M. Best Co. representatives will be hosting an informational session titled "Health Care Industry Turning Point Drives Product Innovation," at America's Health Insurance Plans Business Forum 2005, set for Nov. 7-9 in New York City New York City: see New York, city.

During the session, scheduled for Nov. 8, A.M. Best representatives will address future prospects for profitable growth and opportunities for building competitive advantages in the health insurance industry. In addition, a discussion focusing on changes in product mix and new risk exposures as strategies for combating the adverse effects of rising healthcare costs on marketplace development is planned.

Forum attendees will also have the opportunity to speak with company representatives about A.M. Best's rating Best's rating

A rating A.M. Best Co. assigns to insurance companies based on the company's ability to meet its obligations to its policyholders.
 methodologies and the benefits associated with having a Best's Rating. Information on the interactive rating process and how to request a rating will also be available.
