A.M. Best Co. has upgraded the financial strength rating of B++ (Very Good) to A- (Excellent) for Vision Service Plan Insurance Company (VSPIC) and assigned an initial rating of A- (Excellent) to the parent company Vision Service Plan of California (VSP VSP - Very Simple Prolog+. ), both of Rancho Cordova, California Rancho Cordova is a city in Sacramento County, California, USA, that incorporated in 2003. The State of California estimates its population at 59,056 as of January 1, 2007 [1] History , along with its numerous subsidiaries located throughout the nation.

This rating reflects VSP's strong presence and dominant market position in its niche market A niche market also known as a target market is a focused, targetable portion (subset) of a market sector.

By definition, then, a business that focuses on a niche market is addressing a need for a product or service that is not being addressed by mainstream providers.
