These rating actions follow the announcement that Kiln's board of directors has decided to recommend to shareholders a cash offer for the shares of Kiln by Tokio Marine & Nichido Fire Insurance Company Ltd. The under review with positive implications reflects A.M. Best's view that the acquisition may improve Kiln's financial flexibility. The ratings will remain under review pending A.M. Best's analysis of the transaction, which is expected to close in the first quarter of 2008.
