A.M. Best Launches New Health Industry Research Tool in Online Format.

A.M. Best Co. announces the launch of Best's Online Services - Health, the latest addition to Best's Web-based subscription services. Accessible through Best's Health Center, at www.ambest.com/health, Best's Online Services - Health is a rich database of information on the performance of hundreds of individual health companies and the managed care industry as a whole.

Information in the database is presented in three different report formats. The Company Profile Report offers a quick snapshot (1) A saved copy of memory including the contents of all memory bytes, hardware registers and status indicators. It is periodically taken in order to restore the system in the event of failure.

(2) A saved copy of a file before it is updated.

Best's authoritative opinion on a health company's financial strength, and the industry totals offer a tool for benchmarking individual organizations' performance against industry norms.

Subscribers have access to the service for one year from the date of purchase.
