A.M. Best Downgrades Issuer Credit Rating of Wellington Underwriting plc; Assigns Debt Ratings.


OLDWICK, N.J. -- A.M. Best Co. has downgraded the issuer credit rating (ICR (Intelligent Character Recognition or Image Character Recognition) The machine recognition of hand-printed characters as well as machine printing that is difficult to recognize. ) to "bbb" from "a-" of Wellington Underwriting plc (WU) (United Kingdom), the non-operating holding company of the Wellington group. At the same time, A.M. Best has assigned debt ratings of "bbb-" to the USD USD
