Jenkins is an insurance veteran who has formerly served as president of Acord, the insurance standards organization A standards organization, also sometimes referred to as a standards body, a standards development organization or SDO (depending on what is being referenced), is any entity whose primary activities are developing, coordinating, promulgating, revising, amending, , and as a judge at previous E-Fusion conferences. He's serving as a judge at this year's E-Fusion event as well.

In the online interview, Jenkins explains how the principles of good tech presentations in daily business also make for the most effective E-Fusion Awards presentation; contain a clear focus on why the project was undertaken, what resources were required and what the payoff has been.

A.M. Best's E-Fusion Conference focuses on developments in insurance technology, insurance issues and operations. Part of the conference involves finalists making presentations for the E-Fusion Awards. The awards, which are independently judged, seek to recognize innovative uses of insurance technology. The E-Fusion conference is set for Oct. 23 and 24 in Boston. Conference registration is still open.
