A.M. Best's 2009 E-Fusion Award Competition Continues Wed., Oct. 14, with Aon Risk Services Webcast.

. Aon Risk Services will exhibit their "Global Risk Insight Platform (GRIP)" application in an hour-long live Webcast, during which a panel of judges will review the entry and presentation.

Each Webcast will be hosted by Lee McDonald, Group Vice President of Communications, and Paul C. Tinnirello, Executive Vice President of Global Information Products & Services, both of the A.M. Aon Risk Services' "GRIP" application is a real-time 1. real-time - Describes an application which requires a program to respond to stimuli within some small upper limit of response time (typically milli- or microseconds). Process control at a chemical plant is the classic example.  platform built to track all of Aon's placements and trading activity globally, from submission to quotes and binding. Brokers and their clients can see at what prices and with what coverages and limits carriers are quoting and binding market transactions. Analytics of the GRIP application are provided centrally through Aon's Centre of Innovation and Analytics.

Finalists have 40 minutes, including time for questions and answers, to explain their project, its business purposes, strategy, technological innovations and results. Judges will have the opportunity to question the finalists, and the online audience will also have a chance to submit questions and feedback.
