positively addresses a growing need in the marketplace for higher performance materials. Large volume markets like homebuilding creates the demand and pull through which makes plastic recycling sustainable and successful. Taking recycled polyethylene plastic and converting it into a product which will last for a lifetime is what we do," states Brooks. "This closes the loop and makes recycling work."

The new warehouse fits well with the company's short term and long term plans to expand operations in the Springdale area, according to Brooks. A.E.R.T. has acquired additional recycling equipment and plans to expand its plastic recycling and processing department later this year. Due to increased customer demands, a new composite extrusion plant is also planned for next year. The new warehouse capacity is an intricate part of the company's strategy to reduce cost and increase production. Brooks said the company is coming on strong and the new developments planned for the next twenty-four months will establish it firmly as a leader in the composite building products industry.

"The demand for A.E.R.T. products has increased to where we need more recycled polyethylene plastic," stated A.E.R.T. Vice President, J. Douglas Brooks. "This warehouse will allow A.E.R.T. to increase our collection efforts; and stage and store materials prior to processing, thus creating and maintaining a stable, consistent market for our recycling suppliers," according to Brooks. "It is also the next step towards building an additional plastic recycling and processing facility, which is planned for later this year," stated Brooks.
