A.D.A.M., Inc. Appoints Mark B. Adams as Chief Financial Officer.

ATLANTA -- A.D.A.M., Inc. (Nasdaq: ADAM) today announced the appointment of Mark B. Adams to the position of Chief Financial Officer, effective April 10, 2006. Mr. Adams will be responsible for the Company's financial, accounting, treasury and ongoing business and operational planning. Mr. Adams will report to Kevin S. Noland, A.D.A.M.'s president and chief executive officer.

Mr. Adams joins A.D.A.M. with more than 20 years of experience working for both private and publicly held companies in the technology industry. Most recently, he served as chief financial officer of Miller Zell, a mid-market design and illustration firm. Prior to that, Adams served as chief financial officer for several technology companies, including Micron Optics and Melita International where he guided the company through its initial public offering. Mr. Adams began his career at Arthur Andersen.
