LIMASSOL, Cyprus--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 11, 2000

A.C.L.N. Limited (NASDAQ NASDAQ
in full National Association of Securities Dealers Automated Quotations

U.S. market for over-the-counter securities. Established in 1971 by the National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD), NASDAQ is an automated quotation system that reports on
:ACLNF) today announced that it shipped approximately 35,000 vehicles in the third quarter ended September 30, 2000, an increase of over 24% over the comparable quarter last year.

The Company also added a new port of destination, Noakchot, Mauritania, in the third quarter, shipping approximately 350 vehicles in September.

There has been some investor concern about demand for personal vehicles during the last few months with the brief blockade blockade, use of naval forces to cut off maritime communication and supply. Blockades may be used to prevent shipping from reaching enemy ports, or they may serve purposes of coercion. The term is rarely applied to land sieges.  of the port in Antwerp and the rising oil prices. "During the third quarter we have seen our greatest demand to date. We are also continuing our expansion strategy, with a goal of opening one new destination port every four months. Mauritania is our 15th port in 13 served countries," commented Aldo Labiad, President and Chief Executive Officer of A.C.L.N. Limited.

Recently, investors have also expressed concern that the growing tension in the Middle East could affect demand. "Our only served market in the Middle East is Egypt, which is one of our smallest ports in terms of demand. That port's entire closure would have a minimal effect on our business," commented Joseph Bisschops, Chairman of the Board of A.C.L.N. Limited.
