Paravant Computer Systems has developed its RNB-560 rugged thin
line notebook computer for field applications, The system operates
Windows 98, 2000, NT or XP on a Pentium 600 MHz P3 chip with 128 MB of
Dram, which is expandable to 256. The unit offers an operator removable
5 GB (or higher) EDI hard drive and a 12/1 TFT daylight readable
display. A sealed, elastomer 88 QWERTY-configured keyboard is standard.
Expansion bay accepts an additional battery, an LS120 floppy disk drive,
a DVD/CD-Rom drive or a custom USB interface.
